DUNLOP SET FAST PLUS FLEXIBLE TILE ADHESIVE is a rapid-setting powder-based tile adhesive. Mixed with water, it is suitable for fixing floor and wall tiles including porcelain, fully vitrified, mosaics, quarry, brick slips and stone claddings. Suitable for interior and exterior areas including patios. Tiles can be grouted 3 hours after fixing. The set adhesive is frost and water-resistant and can be used in showers, or under continuous immersion such as swimming pools. This product is available in 20kg.
Description
PREPARATION
The surface to be tiled should be level, clean and free from dust, grease or any loose flaking material. Allow new walls to dry out for minimum 6 weeks before rendering/plastering/tiling. Direct fixing of tiles to clay brick/medium density concrete is acceptable if surface is sufficiently flat.
Before tiling, allow the following minimum drying times:
1. Concrete/concrete block walls/clay brickwork: 6 weeks
2. Cement:sand screed: 3 weeks
3. Cement:sand rendering: 2 weeks (3 weeks for swimming pools)
COVERAGE – Depends on the nature and flatness of the surface and the method of application, but on a level background the approx.. amount of adhesive required will be: approx. 2kg/m2 for dry wall areas. approx. 4kg/m2 for floors, exterior and wet areas.
